Master List of Abilities for [community profile] crosschecks

Specialization

Wind At Your Back: (Bless; Haste Buff; Single Target; Low to Moderate Mana Cost; Persists)

Tier I: Yukari's basic ability makes an ally's weapon(s) feel light as air, and the words just flow from their lips! Under this blessing, attack and/or casting speed is increased, and defenses can also be brought to bear more quickly, enhancing combat abilities, and potentially giving the first-strike edge to the recipient. Yukari can only bless one person at a time, but can bless the whole group if she takes the time to do it.

Tier II (LOCKED): Along with the Tier I effects, Yukari's Wind At Your Back ability additionally has a chance on cast to clear any movement-impairing effects, blowing away roots, sticky messes, and other entrapments that would slow a character's movement speed any, and making their feet feel light as air to get through the entrapment!

Tier III (LOCKED): At its highest form of mastery, Wind At Your Back, along with the attack and casting speed buff, will make any target it is cast upon immune to movement-impairing effects short of straight up knockdowns, the most powerful of knockbacks, and knockouts. Additionally, a small, passive movement speed boost is granted to the recipient - this effect stacks with the Pawn's natural speed boost and a Rook's Castling, so some care may need to be taken by those classes that they don't end up running into something too quickly! The ultimate speed boost blessing.

Vayu Barrier (Restrict; Crowd Control; Variable Targets; High to Moderate Mana Cost; Variable Persistence)

Tier I: Yukari's Vayu Barrier creates a small, localized cyclone around a single, given target. Any attempt by the target to get out of the barrier tends to end in them getting spun around badly and knocked down, though it also will destroy the cyclone in the process. It's difficult for Yukari to keep up the effect for too long due to a high mana cost which she is unused to upkeeping, but it can be used to keep one target in isolation for a time.

Tier II (LOCKED): At Tier II, Vayu Barrier gains a major improvement - the buffeting winds prevent any action taken by the target. On the down side? The winds work both ways, and no spells or attacks from her allies can penetrate through the howling gale, rendering the target immune to damage for the duration of the restriction. She can hold this effect for longer than Tier I.

Tier III (LOCKED): At complete mastery of her abilities, Vayu Barrier becomes unbreakable by anything but the most powerful of enemies, Yukari can target up to two enemies at any given time with it, but the downside of 'they cannot move, but an ally's attacks cannot penetrate the barrier either' remains. She can hold the barrier nearly indefinitely, barring complete exhaustion of her mana reserves, and otherwise can keep a nice, prolonged crowd control rolling.

Healing (King Rank)

Spring Breeze (Heal Over Time Effect; Single Target; Low to Moderate Mana Cost)

Tier I: At Tier I, Spring Breeze is a simple, single-target effect that restores a light amount of health over the course of about 10-15 seconds. Only one can be cast at a time (it will simply 'reset' the duration), but it can be cast continuously to provide a constant stream of healing, and more than one ally may have Spring Breeze's effect on them at any given time.

Tier II: At Tier II, Spring Breeze heals a moderate amount of damage over time. Tier II also unlocks Tier I of Gale of Life.

Tier III (LOCKED): Spring Breeze restores a large amount of health over time.

Gale of Life (Heal Over Time Effect; Multiple Targets; Moderate to High Mana Cost)

Tier I: Requires Spring Breeze (Tier II). Gale of Life restores a small amount of health to the entire party all at once, up front, and then a smaller amount of health over the next 10 or so seconds. Larger mana cost.

Tier II (LOCKED): Heals a moderate amount to the entire party up front, and then a small amount of health over the next 10 or so seconds.

Tier III (LOCKED): Restores a moderate amount of health to the entire party up front, and then a moderate amount over the next 10 or so seconds.

NOTE: Spring Breeze and Gale of Life are stackable effects with each other. Hence why Gale of Life will not be unlocked until later.

Cleansing Air (Debuff Clear; Single Target; Moderate Mana Cost; Cannot Be Cast In Succession (Cooldown))

Tier I: Cleansing Air - the opposite of Stagnant Air. Will remove one harmful effect (poison, petrification, et. al) from a single target.

Tier II (LOCKED): Cleansing Air will now remove all harmful effects from a single target.

Tier III (LOCKED): Cleansing Air will remove all harmful effects from a single target, and render them immune to further harmful effects for a significant length of time.
